MONTY’S CHICKEN & WAFFLES

We wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving eve with some delicious fried chicken. So I asked my dear husband to surprise me with a delicious Thanksgiving eve meal.

He came home with this giant bag filled with goodies. I opened the bag and it felt like Christmas. The jalapeño macaroni and cheese looked delicious, the waffle fries were crispy and flavorful and the grilled cheese pastrami sandwich looked amazing. Finally I pulled out the box at the bottom and opened it to find some fried chicken and waffles!

The spicy Mac and cheese had a nice kick to it. I was worried that it would be too spicy at first, but was happy I went with the spicy version. The grilled cheese pastrami was delicious. Nice soft buttery bun, with soft melted cheese. The pastrami was a nice touch, and I loved how they weren't shy on the portions.

The fried chicken looked really good too, so I was eager to taste it. As soon as I bit into it, I heard that nice satisfying crunch! They did a fantastic job preparing the chicken and I absolutely loved the texture.

They are located at the Grand Food Depot, and only offer takeout. I recommend eating the food as fast as you can so you can eat it while it's still nice and cris
